Epiphaniou Bath & Floors and sanitary ware manufacturer Laufen Bathrooms hosted in Cyprus the internationally renowned designer Gabriele Chiave, Creative Director of Marcel Wanders studio, who presented to architects and interior designers an interesting lecture with the title “Collaboration & Humanism in Design”.
The lecture was held in collaboration with the Association of Architects of Cyprus on October 13, in the beautiful area of Skali Aglantzias, where a cocktail event followed.
Gabriele presented a unique perspective in the field of design, drawing on his experience from the studios of Marc Sadler, Dainese, Foscarina, Serralunga and Marcel Wanders, where he has been working since 2007 as Creative Director, overseeing all product and interior design projects, as well as the creative direction for a number of top brands. The experience of the designers from works on Laufen, Audi, KLM, Baccarat, Moooi, Massimo Bottura Osteria, Lladro was presented in the lecture.
Marcel Wanders’s Studio signature, is the passion with which they lead their associates to participate in the expression of beauty and technical simplicity. According to Gabriele, the role of design is to create an environment full of love and to help people live with passion, making their dreams come true. He also referred to the responsibility of design in respecting tradition and creating legacies that will last in time.
This lecture was the third consecutive event with design personalities, an offer to architects and designers on behalf of Laufen and Epiphaniou Bath & Floors.
